The Sunshine Blogger Award, x3

by - May 27, 2017

What up, my peeps?
So I've been tagged THRICE for various names of the Sunshine Blogger award, by Madeline, Blue, and Gray. A couple of these were quite a while ago - thanks for your patience in me getting around to do it, ladies! XD
So to make things easier for myself (and so that I don't have to answer thirty-three questions) I'll pick and choose from the three of them. Because fun, right? And this is my blog so I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT.

Here we go.
Rules:
-Link back to the person that tagged you
-Answer the eleven questions
-Tag eleven bloggers, and let them know you tagged them
-Ask your tagged bloggers eleven questions

The Questions

1. Iron Man or Captain America? Superman or Batman? Marvel or DC?

When it comes to teams, I am #TeamIronMan, #TeamSuperman, and #TeamMarvel. However, I definitely prefer Batman to Superman in real life... I just sided with Superman in Batman v. Superman.
But Batman is my all around favorite. Because he's Batman.

2. Imagine that a theme song from a film or show played every time you entered a room. Which theme song would you want it to be?

Rey's Theme or the Kingdom Hearts "Dearly Beloved". Those two are pretty but not weak-y, if you know what I mean. It would definitely be fun to have a theme song. But it would have to be one that I wouldn't be sick of after ten days.

3. White chocolate, milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

Honestly? It depends on my mood. I love me some white chocolate most of the time, but milk chocolate is easily my favorite thing ever. Dark chocolate is only good if it has some salted caramel in the middle of it.

4. What’s one thing you adore- but think you will be able to give up for the rest of your life?

This is a hard question. I'd probably have to say YouTube - I love it and the comedy videos on it, but I can survive without it. I'll be happy for a wonderful succession of fun vids, but if I had to I could give up YouTube. Even though I'd really miss Studio C.
For your viewing pleasure: Studio C. Understand now how hard it would be for me to give this up?!

5. Along these lines: What’s one thing you despise- but think you will be able to endure for the rest of your life?

Jazz music?
JK.
Probably awful cussing, because that's one thing that we better be able to endure in today's world. I'd rather not, but no real way out of it. :P

6. Who is the first person who pops into your head when you think "weird"?

Johnny Depp. Hands down. Just one of those people.

7. What book/series would you love to be made into a TV show/movie?

Tales of Goldstone Wood probably. I just love them SO MUCH. All the love. And to have some of it be visual with really good graphics? Oooooh. *shivers with delight at this idea.
Or maybe Counted Worthy by Leah Good. That one's kind of amazing too.

8. What is your favorite book that you read this week?

Man, what did I read this week? *tries to remember* *fails* *checks Goodreads*
Moonblood, of course. It was beyond amazing, and I have found some new character friends :) Varvare and Lionheart and Eanrin and Beana and... *raves for decades before remembering there are four more books* I am kind of sad that we won't be finding out anything else about Rose Red and Lionheart, though, at least not to look at the synopses of the following books. But it was still. SO. GOOD.

9. Where would you rather live? A houseboat, a mountain cabin, a farmhouse, or an apartment overlooking the whole city?

Mountain cabin, please. On top of a beautiful mountain in Virginia that overlooks the Shenandoah Valley. Please take me there and make this real?
Isn't it the most beautiful place on earth? *heart eyes*

10. If you had an animal sidekick, what animal would it be? Could it talk? Fly? Shapeshift?

Probably a magic leopard. Or - actually - can I just have either Beana or Eanrin as my animal sidekick? If you don't know, Beana is a goat, and Eanrin a cat. They can also turn into epicly amazing humans.
In case you couldn't tell, I seriously love the Tales of Goldstone Wood. Like I love them. <3

11. If you could have a superpower/magic ability, what would it be?

The ability to fly. I believe I can do it, folks. I really do. Someday, I will fly. If I had a superpower, that would make things easier... but just having wings would do the trick also. I want to fly. :)

Thank you so much to Blue, Gray, and Madeline!

My Questions:

Let's change this up a bit, shall we? I'm going to theme my questions to be about: Travel!

  1. If you could go anywhere (money's no object), where would it be?
  2. You've been chosen for a cruise to the Caribbean. What do you pack?
  3. Have you ever left your home country before? How old were you? Where did you go?
  4. Do you have a "travel bucket list"?
  5. Is there one thing that you couldn't leave home without? What is it?
  6. You win a trip for two to {wherever}. Who do you take with you?
  7. Are you travelling this summer?
If you want to do this tag, go ahead. I hope you enjoyed this post!

But granted, he is very weird... the movies would stink without him though.

    1. They would. Because then we'd be stuck with Will and Elisabeth the whole time and that would get cheesy really fast :P

  2. Yay for answering (some of) my questions!! :D

I'm #TeamCap, personally, but I agree with you, Batman and Marvel are THE BEST. *nods*

I don't know if I could give up YouTube, honestly. XD I'M WEAK OKAY. But, I mean, STUDIO C. How do you give that up?!

Haha, Johnny Depp is kinda weird. XD

YES. The Tales of Goldstone Wood NEED to be on the screen!! I would watch that show in a heartbeat.

MOONBLOOD IS SO. GOOD. Lionheart is the best thing that ever happened to this world. XD

I NEED EANRIN AS AN ANIMAL SIDEKICK. The banter would be ridiculously wonderful. XD

Thank you again for answering my questions!! ^_^

    1. Oh, yeah! I've been looking forward to answering them :)

I went back and forth on that one... I didn't love Civil War at all so I'm not really on anyone's team. But I prefer Tony in general :)

It would be hard to give up Studio C. If I had to I could. I'd get over it. Eventually. *sobs*

The banter, though! And I love Lionheart SO MUCH.

Yeah! Thanks for tagging me! :D

  3. I love Marvel. ANYTHING Marvel. Except Dr. Strange. *cringes*
Aww, this was so cool! You should do a Q&A sometime. XD
If I could have an animal sidekick, it'd probably be a unicorn. Like Jewel in the Last Battle by C. S. Lewis. <3 #NarniaObsession

Yeah, I think I might! Not sure if I'm interesting enough to make a video of myself but I can try!

I'm sure you are. lol XD
I KNOW! Jewel is teh best. Bree and Strawberry - OOPS, Fledge - are also awesome. <3 I love all horse-ish creatures in Narnia. XD

  4. Haven't seen Civil War - mostly because I'm #TeamEveryoneGetAlongOkay?!(andbringbackQuicksilver) But I will watch it (and Guardians 1 + 2) when I get the opportunity! (Batman, of course, is in his own class and must not be compared to other heroes. Because he's Batman. xD) (I just really want to see the Lego Batman Movie??)

I used to think I wouldn't like the ability to fly, because I'm scared of heights... but then I realised that if I could fly I wouldn't BE scared of heights?? I'd still rather be invisible though. ;)

So many bloggers have recommended Anne Elisabeth Stengl's books! Are they twisted fairy tales? (Sounds like my type of thing... if only my library had them!) If you wanted an excuse to talk more about reading and books, I've tagged you for the Bookish Book Lover Tag -here-. Just if it's convenient. ;)

    1. The Lego Batman Movie was SO GOOD and so cheesy yet hilarious. You should totally watch it ASAP. Yes BRING BACK QUICKSILVER!!!!

That would be... true, wouldn't it? To no longer be afraid of heights would be something XD

They're really amazing. I wouldn't say they're twisted fairy tales - the first one is very straight-up allegory, and the others are more like original fairy tales. So they're epic. I would totally recommend them if that's the kind of thing you like.

      Thanks for tagging me!

  6. Wow, I didn't realize two others had already tagged you! That makes it fun, though- putting together a smorgasbord of questions.

I'd love Beana as a companion! I'd be allergic to Eanrin, but would still get a kick out of ruffling his feathers.

That would be so much fun. We'd both drive each other crazy, I'm sure, but it would be totally worth it.
