BLOG TOUR: London in the Dark by Victoria Lynn (A One-Year Anniversary!!!!!) FEATURING INTERVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

by - March 31, 2018

Hello, everyone! I have one last post for y'all this month--before I go on hiatus for the month of April in order to slam out a novel for Camp NaNoWriMo! <3 The 5-Part Writing Special is DONE (if you haven't seen my post for Week 5 yet, it's HERE, and you should totally check it out)--but today I have something just as exciting:

A blog tour for Victoria Lynn's book London in the Dark!

Synopsis:
London, 1910

Budding Private Detective Cyril Arlington Hartwell has a conundrum. London is being ravaged by the largest run of thefts in recent history. His hunch that it is all tied together may put him and those he loves in more danger than he could have reckoned.

Olivia Larken Hartwell is just home from boarding school for the summer anticipating time with her adoring parents. She misses her absent brother, Cyril, hoping for the day he will finally come home. But tragedy strikes, causing upheaval for all concerned and changes her life in a way she never could have imagined.

Olivia, Cyril, and their friends must bring the hidden to light, seek to execute justice, and dispel the darkness that hovers over London… and their hearts.

This just looks like such a GREAT book! I have a copy on my Kindle right now, and can't wait to dig into it!!!!!

About the author:
Victoria Lynn is in her 20s and if she's not writing, she is probably sewing, singing,
playing the piano, washing dishes, creating something with her hands, or learning something new. She has a passion for serving her Creator, encouraging others, and
being creative. She blogs over at Ruffles and Grace about writing,
fashion, modesty, her walk with God and life. She lives in Michigan with her parents
and 8 siblings.

There's a super-cool Facebook party happening this weekend too, so here is the link to that: FACEBOOK PARTY!!!!!

Today, I also get to interview the lovely Miss Lynn over here on my blog! Without further ado, here is that!

Welcome to my blog, Victoria! I know you've written in several different genres--which is your favorite to write in?

That’s a good question. I love trying new things, but I would have to say writing historical fiction is still my favorite.

In that vein, which genre is your favorite to READ in?

Probably the same. I really enjoy reading historical fiction and suspense is a close second.

That's so cool! I'm partial to fantasy myself, but his-fic has begun to rank higher on my list of late. How do you find time to write?

I have to make the time. It won’t appear unless I look for it. I have to carve out time to do it. Getting rid of distractions is the best way. I need to put my phone down more and focus on what is most important.

Is there a song that just gets you into the writing mood?

Soundtracks always put me in the writing mood. As soon as one gets turned on, I feel the urge to write and my mind starts spinning. I always have soundtracks playing when I am writing.

Do you  have any hobbies besides writing? I have to make the time.

Too many to name. My top favorites are sewing (I got to make my sister-in-law’s wedding dress this past year) music (I have been playing the piano for 15 years) and other crafting. I also enjoy reading and graphic design amongst other things. :D

Thank you so much for having me Faith!

And a huge thank you for letting me interview you! :D

Finally for y'all today, I have a giveaway!
