To celebrate, I thought I'd do an "aesthetic of Faith" style post! I've never done one of these, but since y'all have said you like my aesthetic posts, here's one...of my life and my school year, and me. Some of it is funny, some of it is more heartfelt. Hope you enjoy ^_^
SOME HIGHLIGHTS AND AESTHETICS OF MY YEAR
Classmate 1: We know where you live, Faith!
Classmate 2: so don't be surprised if we show up at your house!
Me: that's cool and all but please call ahead and let my parents know you'll be coming because they might freak out

That one 92 on a math test that made me scream so loud I scared my family
My teacher: Now, listen up, guys, because I am about to BLOW your small but fertile minds.
My history classmate starting a running list of the number of times each person in our class said their catchphrase
My English teacher: Princess Leia is a symbol of good in the galaxy, like fighting for the right side! And apple pie!!!
My boss at work as I was leaving from my last-ever shift at my restaurant: Now, remember, wherever life takes you...just know it will never be as fun as this place.
My sister: Faith can buy the food because she's RICH!!!!
Me: *looks at the five dollars in my bag* Yeah. Rich.
Registering for Realm Makers!!!! I finally get to go, you guys!
Classmate 1: we'll all fail together guys, if we go down it's as a team.
Classmate 2: this is a team fail.
Classmate 3: WHERE'S THE OPTIMISM????
Me: not in this room.
Rishatta at 2 o'clock in the morning: hey
Me: NO I'm sleeping
Rishatta: but you could--
Me: NOOOOOO
Rishatta: I mean I had this idea about how you could fix that plot hole and put me where I need to be but I guess--
Me: *goes back to sleep*
Me the next morning: NOOOO why didn't I write that down?!
I started drinking coffee this year! Mostly because I liked ice coffee, I needed stuff to keep me going at work, and my coworkers haggled me until I started
I had my seventeenth birthday!!! And it's probably the best birthday I've had in years.
My best friend: Wait you put THAT plot twist in your book???!!!!!!
Me: yeah. Are my readers going to kill me?
My best friend: Oh hon, they're going to kill you and I'll cheer them on in the background.
My friend: Faith, go to whichever school you want, everyone supports you! We trust you to make the right decision--and of course there is only one right answer, which is the school I'm attending.
Little old lady at my job: Can I get a large hot chocolate, please?
Me: *makes it and gives it to her*
Little old lady: *very aggressively stares at the hot chocolate*
Little old lady: *looks me dead in the eye*
Little old lady: YUM.
I'm 100% a makeup fan now, and I do my hair up and dress somewhat nicely! Does this mean my bum phase is over, or is it merely an interlude?
My teacher: sometimes, you just have to take the kids to McDonald's Playland. And they just disappear into a large plastic structure. While you sit there with something salty and full of carbohydrates. It's a great moment! It's an underrated moment! It's a moment that I think a lot of us are looking for! But anyway.

I'm not always very strong at following God and I fail more often than I'd like to admit, but His grace is powerful and mighty and he is Good

Pain is strong...but God is stronger
Guess what? I saw you again. And now I don't miss you anymore.
Sometimes it's time to move on from friendships...sometimes, it's time to dig your nails in and hang on as tight as you can and make sure this thing doesn't break, because it's beautiful and you're sure as heck not ready to let go
