My Characters in Song Lyrics//Aesthetics

I thought for today's post, I'd give you all a look at some of my characters and their aesthetics! I tend to think in song lyrics (whoops) and so I have massive playlists for each of my characters, including many of the songs below on this list.
So, if you've ever wondered what inspired some of my Pentegreen characters: here you go.
(Note on the images: all of these are from Pinterest; I own nothing and all rights go to the creators. Not all of these pics are 100% accurate, especially in skin tone, but they're sort of what inspired me, so...yeah. xD)

DeleteTHIS WAS MOST CERTAINLY NOT BORING. Now that I really know the characters, this was SO INTERESTING. And just makes me even MORE curious about them. The "spoilers" part of Dauthang just... O_O I AM WORRIED.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried about ALL of them. Like...so many secrets and pain and sldkjflskjdkjf. I was already on edge for these poor babies and this didn't help one tiny bit.
But these lyrics fit SO well from what I know about them each. THIS WAS EPIC. I love how much time you put into developing your characters. It really shows on the page! They're so real and lovable. <333

I'm very glad to hear it xD I thought now, when people had actually read some of it, would be the best time to publish this thing because some of y'all would actually understand some of the references xD And yeah, be rather worried about Dauthang...he worries even me and I'm supposed to be in control of him. Yikes.

What a fun post! I'm gonna have to look into all of these songs that I didn't know now because I love new music. I think of my characters in themes of their music too. (FALCON IN THE DIVE YASSSSS GIRL! we were literally just talking about my Dracula/Scarlet Pimpernel retelling and that's the theme for my bad guy too).

I keep looking for something I can't get... and I can't see an easier way to get out of this...cause I've been thrilled to fantasy one to many times... I, I just died in your arms tonight... I love the format of this post so much. Even though I don't know many of the songs, I can really get a sense of each of your characters through the lyrics you shared.
